MoeningTheTracks is hosting a Fall Coaches Conference at The Wirth Trailhead October 19th, 2025.

American Skiing is at an all-time high, yet here in the Twin Cities, home to over 50 Nordic Ski Team and Clubs, there is no dedicated Coaches Education, Nordic Networking, and Peer Feedback.

This past spring, I partnered with Bearskin Lodge for a trial Coaches Conference, and it was so empowering to be surrounded by passionate coaches who shared their experiences of working with athletes of all ages, all over Minnesota.

It became evident of the importance of bringing together Nordic Coaches from different parts of the state, who coach different abilities, different age groups, and all have different strategies, methods, and goals.

I am so excited to bring together a talented group of our Coaches Community Members for another Conference at Theodore Wirth Trailhead this fall, October 19th 11:00 am - 2:00pm.

While access to Nordic Ski Coaching Education has gotten easier over the years due to organizations such as U.S. Ski and Snowboard and CXC, there is currently no Nordic Skiing Specific Platform in the Twin Cities to foster collaboration between Youth, High School, Junior, College and Adult Programs. Getting coaches of all abilities, ages, and backgrounds, and individual passion for the sport is how we continue to improve as coaches, teams and work on collaboration as a community.

In the theme of accessibility of knowledge-sharing, I kept the conference price at $50, just to cover the price of the rental space. If the price of the event is keeping you from registering, please reach out - I want anyone who is interested in attending to be able to!
